Smoked my first ribs today!
Always wanted to try, just never had a smoker and that kinda stuff... Used three different recipes found online. A KC style, "basic" rub, and a chinese smoky rib style. All dry rubs, but the chinese had a sauce you broiled on for about 10 minutes when done smoking. Have to say my fav was the kc style...they were a little spicy, which was awesome!
Anyone have a recipe they wanna share? I have definitely caught the bug now! |

Excellent. How did you smoke them? What type of ribs did you use?

pork ribs on an electric smoker...used wood chips(hickory/mesquite mix) about 5 1/2 hours...will definitely use wood chunks next time. chips burned up a little quick for a long smoke project. think next i might try a couple loins or something...
