Leonard Pope

What was up with Pope on Chamber's catch? Was he being held and looking for a flag or just trying not f-it up?

He looked like he quit, and I wondered the same thing. I looked again, though, and it looks like he's knocked his defender out of the play and to the ground. The play is past him at that point, so he just sort of stands there. Looks weird that he doesn't continue and follow Chambers, but he'd definitely taken care of his man.

He threw a mother ****er down and isn't used to us getting big plays... honestly he probably assumed Chambers was running out of bounds.

Yea, I thought he was either holding/blocking his man and pleading innocence or looking for a flag for illegal contact the way he threw his hands up.

On a another note, it looked like Chambers could have followed the block into the endzone, but ran out of gas (no tivo to replay, so don't know). Also, why not run a play to the middle of the field to help the ensuing field goal? Not to second guess a win or anything.

When the play was live I was like "****ing chambers, get that ball in the ****ing end zone, running out of bounds like a pussy."

Then I had the vision of him getting all the way down inside the 5, trying to get into the endzone and fumbling it and thought "ah, yeah, probably a smarter move".

It was weird to not worry about the kicker ****ing up. Any other year I'd have been like "oh shit, he's going to miss."
