Scheffler has been frustrated by his reduced role this season — he has 31 catches for 416 yards in 15 games, after catching 40 passes for 645 yards in 13 games last year.

He apparently expressed his frustration to a few teammates after the Broncos' 30-27 loss last Sunday to Philadelphia, and Scheffler was informed Wednesday by an assistant coach that he would not be dressing for the game Sunday against the Chiefs and would spend the week of practice on the scout squad.

"To be honest, I haven't even heard from Josh," Scheffler said.

He never had his locker room in the first place.They got a little lucky,won 6 games by living on a prayer, and everyone acted their part.The real Donkhole team shows face and they fall apart.

McDaniels is an idiot, and while highly unlikely that we win, I hope this little stunt costs them a playoff berth - THEN we can talk about him REALLY losing the locker room.

McDaniels will be Denver's coach for a long time. Bowlen is letting Josh build the team the way he wants it. Denver should be in the Super Bowl within the next 3-5 years with McDaniels.

Possibly. His "compensatory selection" value is probably diminished a bit due to his underperforming year this year, though.
