WiFi Booster for me TV
My wireless router is in my basement because my office is down there. Our TV on the main floor gets a shitty signal because of this and I'm wondering if there's a way to boost the signal or put a more powerful wifi adapter/antenna on the TV?
It's a Sony Bravia and when I bought it I had to buy a wifi dongle that's currently plugged in. |

instead of getting a booster you might want to get a repeater. You can move the repeater around until you get the best spot for receive/resend. Need outlet though.
many of the new routers now have a option to be a repeater as well. here's a link to an example with diagrams and video. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833281003
