The only thing I can remember rivaling this is Carl's "resignation."

This has far more stamina.

The Royals will be in the playoffs in the next couple years. That'll be fun too.

Hugh Douglas was pretty crazy. Samari Rolle wasn't far behind. All kinds of stalkerish behavior there. We haven't really seen anything crazy in terms of rumors at the airport or looking for houses, that kind of thing.

Excuse me, Mr. SNR ... can I ask a favor?

I have this idea and I don't want to start a new thread. Can I post my idea here in your thread? It isn't a very good idea, so it probably won't result in some kind of total hijack or anything.

I have a strict set of forms you have to fill out. It needs departmental approval. I've been burned by thread hijacking in the past, and I need to take every precaution to prevent it in the future.

You seem like a nice guy, so I'll let it slide this once. Go ahead and post your idea.

Thanks, Mr. SNR. I appreciate the help. It's a real nice thread you've got here.

Okay, here's my idea ...

As many of you are aware, I've been working from home of late and, for noise/company, I've been watching this reality show deal on A&E called "The First 48 Hours". This television program follows the exploits of real-life police detectives who solve real-life murders in real-life cities like ... say ... Memphis.

Anyhow, they're always picking up these witnesses and street peeps and snitches as well as criminals. They drag their asses into the office and interrogate them until they cry. But that's not the idea part, there.

Here's the idea part.

Every single one of these people (witnesses, street peeps, criminals, etc.) have a regular name plus they have a "street name". Like tonight, for example, they were on the hunt for a guy named "Dwight" whose street name was 6-9 because he is 6'9" tall. Earlier, they were looking for a guy named, "Spots" because he has spots. There was also a guy named "Whitey" because he is white. See the connection, there? But that's not the idea part there, either.

Here's the actual idea part.

I think it would be good if Planeteers had "street names" like these street peeps do. Like, for example, Mr. Rain Man could be "Strange Poll". Mr. Phobia could be "Bananamarama". Or, say ... Mr. SNR could be .... well ... "Snar" and stuff like that. What do you guys think? Wouldn't that be awesome?

I never get to be Bananamarama. It's always somebody else. Even back in elementary school. "Wait your turn, SNR," they always told me. Tell me to wait, will they? I'll show them. I'll show them all.

You can be Bananamarama, Mr. SNR. I don't care. Well ... I do care. I care deeply ... and widely ... and tallish.

So ... what do you think? Do you honestly and sincerely believe that Planeteer "Street Names" is a completely awesome idea like I do?
