Pioli obviously has a bad reputation

Everyone knows this guy came in here thinking he was the next savior, He obviosly believed it himself and his ego has been put into place with the less then stellar decisions he's made with the draft, signings, secretive ways etc.. is an embarrassment to this organization...

Mannning won't even give him the time of day.. sad for the club that started the AFL.....

Clark better man up and get rid of this(metaphor)ing (Slang)hole...

I think this is all BS.

This is the problem with the Haley hiring and firing.

This is the problem with promoting Romeo to HC - it sent the wrong message. I think if we hard hired a big time, big name HC, we wouldn't have this problem.

Arrowhead Anxiety. Todd Haley hired by the Steelers. Gretz talking about micro-managing Haley all the way from Dallas. I believe Gretz mentioned that at the senior bowl(?), every team knew. Mentions of Pioli running on the treadmill reading stories about him. Plenty of stories of KC pretty impolitely denying access to the facilities, to information... hell, Pioli didn't even interview or respond to Arrowhead Anxiety.

And now it's possible that Peyton Manning may sign on the dotted line without ever visiting the team that has the best situation for him.
This has a lot more to do than just Romeo. If Peyton doesn't visit the Chiefs, it's pretty clear that he has no respect for our front office. Which is sad, because apparently he has respect for Bud Adams.

Yep. And what I haven't really figured out is that the Hunt family has always been kind and respectful to Peyton. He has been here many times for the 101 banquet heck he just spent the whole day here in KC not too long ago and Mitch Holthus was with him the whole time.

Quote:
"I spent a day with Peyton Manning in Kansas City," Holthus told Kietzmann. "He's got his own empire with different sponsors but he came in and Sprint had me basically host him for a day. It was one of the best days I've had in my professional life.

"One, the guy is fabulous. He has a great personality. It's kind of what you see is what you get. But he likes Kansas City. He likes Kansas City a lot. I think one of the pluses about Kansas City is the fact that, if you think about a market that most assimilates Indianapolis and what he's been able to play in the last several years and the framework of how the organization is structured, and the market that he's in...he can handle being in a market like New York like his brother is but I get the sense from him that he doesn't want every breath analyzed.

"He appreciates the fans here. He's talked about it with me. He appreciates Kansas City and the passion for the franchise so it would be the closest thing to Indianapolis he can find. That would be a positive for him. I think he can also appreciate the sense that there's a young team being built around him with a defense that could be very, very good and with the right pieces put together on offense and they could be very, very good."

We are a sad organization. Too bad the media doesn't see this, everybody that's not a chief doesn't see this. He needs to be exposed.

The thing is they talk abou tthe Chiefs are a historic franchise and we really arent. We havent done a DAMNED thing since what Jan of 1970?

I think the only freaking way the Chiefs can pull out of this mess is if we have something like Tom Brady. I dont se eany other way out.

The Babb article we a very long way to exposing the general dysfunction. Hell, Whitlock was writing about this in '09; we just didn't want to believe it then.

All the twitter users on here need to tweet and retweet the statement: "Clark Hunt will never raise the trophy that bears his father's name above his head."

Make the management respond to the fans dissatisfaction. If ownership just ignores it, then make sure players for other teams get the message; make sure free agents get the message (Manning sure did); make sure the media picks up on the message. Make sure it is trending. Put the pressure on the front office. In short, humiliate them.

What haven't you being paying attention? The media has exposed the Chiefs. That is the reason Manning isn't going to come to the Chiefs. per Chiefsplanet.
