Special power that you like to have

If you can just pick one special power, what would that be?

For me, I like to have the mind reading ability.

By the way, I also like to mention that the lamest special ability is invisibility. Yes, some of you guys may like to use it to sneak into some shower rooms, but if the driver of the speeding Porsche doesn't see you, oh well...

Yeah, that wins.

Flight would be pretty badass, as would invulnerability and/or super strength.

But invisibility would just rock. I'm not even speaking to shower rooms and such (that would get boring).

Look at mere sports potential - watching baseball games from center field. Watching football games from mid-field. The standard 'theft' stuff would be nice.

I just love the potential with invisibility.

Yes but if you could read their mind you would know what you could say or do to change their minds.

I meant Iowanianianianian specifically. I don't think he's going to be changing any minds.

Okay now that wouldn't be too bad at all.

Scene: Guy in a bar...

Guy - "Hey how's it goin?"

Girl - She turns towards him

Guy then walks away before she even finishes her sentence if it won't go well. :P. Next.

expedite the process.

That's where seeing the future helps. You're going to know who you're pokin' later. No need to waste time with the rejection.

Then again you're also going to have a shit pile of money from lottery wins, gambling and playing the stock market so seeing the future should involve a lot of shallow gold digging tail.

Hard to argue against that.

I suppose you could sneak a peak at future events you want to see.

Just because you have a power doesn't mean you have to look at everything.

I don't watch jersey snore, sorry.

Most people love me, because I'm not an ubber-douche like you.

If I can pick an ancillary super power, I'd like to be able to look at any woman, curl my lip or wiggle my nose and make them O on the spot.

It would be worth if for the entertainment value in awkward situations.
I'd probably mostly use it to make my wait shorter in stores during Christmas shopping. Drop the entire line and move right to the front.

^ This. By being able to read the future you could make financial decisions that make you money and avoid those that don't. You could also know which women you could hit on and which ones to avoid because of failures etc.....

Ever heard of Longshot?

In the comics he had a "dumb luck" power. It's like he could call on luck. For example, he could walk into a convienence store and win $50,000 if he needed cash. He could shoot acurately from half a mile if he needed to. He could flick a quarter into a juke box from across the room. You get the idea. I always thought he was the collest of the X-men.

That's a really cool superpower. It's almost like being superman, but it's not the same. You can make a bullet miss you, but you can't rescue someone inside a burning volcano. You can have the door to locker room fall off, but you can't use x-ray vision to look inside. Maybe Lex Luthor could kill you, but his laser gun gets tripped over and unplugged as he's about to shoot.

What a fun superpower, and it's cool to have control over it, too.
