Have the Cards roughed up Ventura before?

I'm sure their fans can give us a scouting report.

I only found one game he's pitched vs. Cards and he went 6 innings allowing 2 runs, and got the win. Don't know who the opposing pitcher was.

Every pitcher can have a bad day but, some consider him the best pitcher in the NL. He is the real deal. Natuaral talent. plays with passion. Continues to learn. He is the pitcher you want on your staff to stop a losing streak. In only his 2nd year(last year was a lost year) he is looking like a #1 starter. And the great part of him falling to us in the draft, it was the extra pick for Pujols who left for $20 million because he had his feelings hurt.

You rough up Wacha? Well done.

He better get his K rate back up, or this run isn't going to last.

He's FAR out pitching his peripherals right now. Maintaining a sub-2.50 ERA with fewer than six Ks/9 is not really possible in this day and age.

Wacha' fastball/changeup combo is really nice, but he still needs to develop a better and more consistent breaking pitch to reach his highest potential.

Now 7-0 1.78 ERA. Cy Yong candidate.

The Royals are the real deal. Best record in baseball now. You guys can flat hit that ball hard. That was an impressive performance.

Good series. Two blowouts surrounded by a rain game. We just might have saw a preview of the World Series. Would be a great series.
