Broncos Acquire Mark Sanchez From Eagles

The Broncos have begun to address their hole at quarterback, according to Mike Klis of 9NEWS, who reports (via Twitter) that Denver is acquiring Mark Sanchez from the Eagles. Philadelphia will get a conditional draft pick in exchange for the veteran signal-caller, per Klis. The pick is a 2017 selection, tweets Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

That says more about Collin Kapernick than anyone else. It means he doesn't want to work and he realized the donks aren't going to trade for or pay big money to an option read QB in the NFL.

All I heard is Kaep would like going to Cleveland because of Hugh Jackson. I didn't hear that he would prefer Cleveland over Denver.

Mike Silver actually said that Denver and Kaep's representatives are a lot closer on a potential restructured contract than Cleveland is, while Cleveland and the 49ers are a lot closer in trade compensation than Denver is.

I'm saying that with what's left out there to choose from, multiple quarterbacks will start gamed for Denver this year, and Sanchez will likely be one of them.

John Elway is going to get a good QB in Denver. Whether it's Kaep, RG3, or a 1st round pick, Elway will be very proactive about getting a QB. Elway wouldn't have let Brock just walk away without having a better option in mind. Elway is not desperate, he knows what he's doing.

At this point, if the season were to start today, he'd be the starter. Will they go get someone else? Sure.
