You can't trust the officiating to call a game even and fair.

Does the above comment pertain to the NFL or XFL?

As long as everyone is properly standing for the anthem, this thing can't help but be a massive hit.

You are just a ray of sunshine on life Nellie. I have a couple Christmas Parties coming up and you are the epitome of the "oh God, it's here" when you walk through the door person.

"Oh, Hello Cosmo!!! Your scowl has grown even more resenting than last year! Merry Christmas! Now you'll have to excuse me while I go try to make pleasant conversation with the dog."

Can't wait to see the snowflakes cry.

I hope it succeeds. The NFL needs a kick in the pants.

TV ratings are down in both the NFL and college football, so clearly people are craving more football.

The AFC Championship game was the highest rated TV show since last year's Super Bowl. Not the highest rated sports show, the highest rated TV show in the US for the entire year. I think they'll survive.

That whole thing is completely overblown. That said, I don't think the XFL will be successful unless they go to a spring league that doesn't directly compete with the NFL. The USFL was successful in the spring, but failed when they tried to compete directly. Also, I think it would need to be good football, not just crazy gimmicks like the last time.

It's a long way from knowing what it will actually be. Hopefully he has something more to bring to the table than what's been pitched. But the NFL could use a big kick in the dick so I hope it succeeds. The NFL has lost all of its imagination.
