Hypothetical Veach Blockbuster trade ideas.

Now that no charges on Hill.

Word was out they were shopping him before the shit came down.

What value could we get for him. Back into the first round plus a 2nd?

Package Hill for Peterson plus pick or picks.

I like Tyreek, but Just imagining the team may be ready to move on.

Do it before the possible suspension and know what we have.

What interest would teams have in Fisher?

Just a thought.

Fire away.

AFAIC, long term deals are earned. If the Chiefs even think TH was complicit in this (even if he skates through with some BS NFL punishment), he should never get a long term contract. He doesn't merit the risk

Given the current state of affairs, I think there's no chance we'd get anything better than a 3rd for Hill if we tried to trade him right now.

It's not even clear the Chiefs have done their full due diligence on his situation. So naturally other teams haven't done it either. No organization - with no clue of the facts - is going to put themselves squarely in harm's way in terms of what may or may not come out of this over the next month, let alone the next 24hrs.

Yeah, Chiefs are in win-now mode, but we should trade up for the guy who likely isn't going to see the field in 2019 because he's recovering from an injury. And, of course, the guy who was seen on video punching a woman on the ground.

That seems like the obvious Veach play here.

So the DA comes out and says that a crime was committed and the only reason charges aren't being filed is because they can't conclusively say who committed the crime, CPS is still investigating Hill, he can still be charged at any time due to the 5 year statute of limitations, the NFL itself isn't going to do anything until CPS is done...... and you think we'll get a 1 and 2 or even Peterson for him?

First of all he said he “believes” a crime was committed not there was “definitely” a crime committed.

Just assumptions my man........just assumptions.

I thought the DA said that a crime was 'definitely' committed. Maybe I'm misremembering, but I thought he was pretty definitive on that point.

Trading Hill now would be stupid as ****, his value is at all time low and without him we are depleted at WR and our Bowl odds take a serious hit.
