Cool stats. Hangs in the pocket well except that time when he just threw the ball down and we all shit our pants until we realized play was dead. Ready to see Pat back this week though, confirmed.

Moore has been pretty amazing considering the circumstances.

KC really misses Mahomes inside the 20...I've seen Moore overthrow Kelce a few times when things get tight and I dont think they have had a redzone TD in 2 weeks.

That said...Moore more than earned his job to be Mahomes back-up...sorry Henne....MM could probably start for 12 teams right now.

One of the announcers in the Packers game made a good point about this. Since Moore wasn't here for training camp and only a week of practice (two now), he has had almost no work on red zone plays. With the limited practice time available now, there just isn't time to get everything in and get the extra time to get the timing down on those plays.

The Moore fumble was the pants shitting moment for me.

Thankfully Damien was there to recover it.

That's because he's pressured every play.

I posted somewhere that he's got to be as good as any backup in the league under pressure.

He's better than 2/3 of the starters under pressure.

He's certainly better than Cousins under pressure.

small sample size and all of that, but he's mentally and physically tough as hell. He just stands in there and takes the beating to deliver the ball.

He's been impressive.

If Moore wants to be back next year I would offer him the back up spot. Only if he wants to come back

He throws a pretty good deep ball. Struggles a bit in the red zone. He’s a good fit for a team with as many deep threats as we have.

The smartest thing he does is get the ball to Tyreek. Very smart man.

He's done very well. It did get pretty hairy there at the end of the Vikings game when they brought the heat. Lucky he didn't fumble the ball away a couple times. That play where he fumbled and Williams picked up the ball and starting running - they blew it dead but I didn't understand why. It looked like a pretty obvious fumble and recovery to me.

It was the old Derrick Johnson / Marcus Mariota rule

Ha, that thought crossed my mind. It's the only explanation. If the Vikings recovered that they would've gotten screwed.

Shit still pisses me off. Not a single ref ever ruled that forward progress until that day. Practically every QB sack up the middle would be called that way. Such a horseshit made up call.

I'm glad it was Matt Moore and not Chad Henne. I think Henne would have ****ed it up.
