Mangini is just pissed because while he and Cris Carter were busy sucking each others dicks talking about everyone being excited about Mahomes way too early and trying to downplay everything he was doing, he has now had to watch him literally become a legend in front of the world.

Instead of just acknowledging what has happened, he sticks to the narrative that if he was that good they wouldnt have to keep coming back from deficits, and talk shit on his first 3 1/2 quarters of the SB.

Even talking about the comeback, all he had was " well, his receivers got wide open."

He's dug his hole so deep he cant get out and us now prophesising he will bring about Doom to the Chiefs unless he emulates Tom Brady and gives a discount.

He's a tool, and I think Nick Wright inwardly enjoys giving him a platform in which to humiliate himself.

Hopefully the set crew there invested in air freshener for as much as he talks out of his ass.

Pats whole thing is built on cheating. Their first 3 are bogus and Brady was carried by a defense like he is now. His best years statically when he put up bery good numbers they won nothing. When he hands the ball off and has a great defense they win. Hes not an transcendent player and Mahomes is.

If you go back and watch the game, Pat was making plays throughout. Yeah the first INT was bad. One drive stalls because an end around blew up. Another because the OL broke down and Bosa got a strip. Another because Williams got held up and didn't see the ball.

So Pat puts up 31 instead of 45. Yeah those are lofty standards.

All this shit while dragging Bob Sutton and his trash ass defense, kicking and screaming to a late 4th quarter lead in the AFCCG. Throwing 50 td to 12 int, and over 5k yards in his first year as a starter.

Now he has adversity, has to overcome 24-0, and multiple 10 point deficits, and his tune now changes to "if hes so good why were they down?"

If he blows their doors off hes not impressed because he didnt have to overcome anything, and if he overcomes anything he's not impressed because he's not supposed to ever have to come from behind if hes so great.

I like Nick Wrights takes, It helps that hes a Chiefs fan, and its pretty funny watching him own Mangini, Carter, or whichever guest they have at the time if they start talking shit.

He put it bluntly to Mangini. Paraphrased:

The superbowl was by far the worst game of Patrick Mahomes' career. And yet, he still won the superbowl by 11 points after being down 10 with just over 6 minutes left, and dropped 31 on the best defense in the game.
