Mechanic question
I'm no expert at this but my BMW is aggravating the shit out of me at the moment...
I have a misfire in cylinder 6, since this has happened, I changed all of my spark plugs out since it needed to be done anyway, put in a new coil, swapped coils to see if I'd get a different cylinder misfire, I didn't. And replaced the individual fuel injector on that cylinder and it still misfires. Really at a loss here on what the **** is making it misfire. |

Don't forget to check your headlight fluids.

I don't want to be a grammar nazi but the proper term is "blinker fluid".

Do you have access to a compression tester? That is what I would want to know, how that cylinder checks compared to the others. If that cylinder is low it is probably a valve or valve train, but could also be a head gasket, rings or piston. Valve train being the most likely imo. |

My (former) BMW had the same issue as Mecca's and this was the problem.

If it is a four cylinder engine, that would explain why cylinder #6 is misfiring. You might want to check #5 too.
