player development is the issue

So many of our guys haven't evolved as players.

For as great as Pat is, he still makes the same mistakes (ie., dropping to deep, scrambling too soon, not stepping up in the pocket). He's great, but if you want to be considered in the GOAT convo you need to grow. Tom Brady and Peyton grew and developed.

CEH hasn't grown

Frank Clark has regressed

These guys either read their press clipping too much or the staff isn't doing the work they need to make sure these guys continue to grow as they achieve success.

The AFC is catching up with us and the ability to not just draft well, but develop what we get will be paramount to us being a Dynasty v. a shot in the pan.

Next game use all your fingers and toes and count as high as you can every time Patrick does one of the three things I mentioned in my OP.

GTFO with this bullshit. Is Patrick perfect? No he isn’t.

But the majority of the time he’s the sole reason the Chiefs are in the game.

And he still has a ton of room to grow.

The 3 things I mentioned in my OP are going to be become more critical as he grows older, his athleticism diminishes, and he needs to rely more on good game instincts and mechanics.

It's been an issue ever since he's been in the league and he still hasn't fixed it.

The best players on those team were all drafted by Dorsey. It’s not hating to admit that he’s had some misses in the draft.

Getting hung up on a few misses from a super bowl winner who has drafted in the bottom of every draft is a bit much. Especially when we've barely used our late first rounders. His draft track record is outstanding considering....

I just don't call them misses. CEH is in his second year and still has a lot to prove but he can be a star on this offense and still can be worth the pick. He kicked ass before his injury last year so I still expect great things out of him.

I want more out of Hardman too and Thornhil but damn back to back Super Bowls and these guys are contributors.

I'm a Veach fan, but he didn't "bring us two AFC titles and a SB win. Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid did.

Without Veach we would not have drafted Mahomes it's well documented.
