Big test for Chris Jones this week.

Despite playing against the oldest, slowest qb in the league for years now, Jones has one strip sack to his name, and this happened when Brady still played in New England.

Despite his lack of statistical production, Chris Jones always has plenty to say to Tom Brady.

Good thing for Jones that he adopts the philosophy of " I don't even have to hit you to talk shit. Otherwise, Jones might be a bona-fide mute in contests against Brady.

Every time these two teams play, Jones and Brady are nose to nose, going at it.

With Jones' unfathomable lack of situational awareness on display to the world last week, we all saw his inability to resist running his mouth to a veteran qb late in the game on a huge sack to bring up a 4th and long. He handed that qb a chance to cram the game winning touchdown into his big mouth, and did nothing in response the rest of the series to prevent it.

With Brady seemingly getting preferential treatment from officials, Jones will be under a magnifying glass this weekend. Will Jones be able to keep his mouth shut and play, or will tempers flare and the opposing team again reap the benefits of Chris Jones' 4th grade schoolyard mentality?

Should be interesting. You know the overwhelming desire to get in Tom's face will be there. Can he step up and control himself, or will Brady capitalize on this and get under his skin. Jones has publicly said that he will be better in this area, and there's no bigger test to see where he's at mentally than this game, against this quarterback he has history with.

The buccaneers are in terrible shape offensively. They'll have Williams back off suspension, but outside of that Bradys receiving corps is the worst it's ever been. He's not been able to get the ball out as fast this season, so the defense is going to get their shots at Brady.

Gonna be hard to resist talking some shit if Jones is able to get him on the ground. It doesn't happen very often, and Tom Brady has the shortest tampon fuse in football.

It's amazing that all the shit talk we've seen between Jones/Brady and Brady/everyone and we've never seen a flag. There's been so much shit talking in this league that looked and probably sounded a thousand times worse than what we saw in Indianapolis. No flags.

There are many that believe the refs are just out to get the Chiefs. If that is in fact the case, against Brady at home, Jones might as well be flashing red like an arcade game boss' weak point.

It'll be interesting to see how the trenches are officiated for sure.

Could be a mute if that's the case. He hasn't had much success getting after Brady, but this game will certainly be his best chance at it with their struggles offensively.

I have nothing against jones. I want guys with swagger and he does play hard and has managed to keep himself well conditioned even after his pay day

I’m still sick to my stomach about the bullshit roughing on Brady. He shouldn’t have to apologize for that. He should know better than drawing an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty even if that’s a bullshit rule.

brady is going to be calling Chris every racist name in the book. He'll be doing everything possible to get Chris to open his mouth, because as brady himself has said, he can say anything he wants without being called for a penalty and we know that Chris will be called for a penalty if he says one word.
