Nothing political about a flu shot. Just curious where CP stands on getting one this year.

I'm planning on getting one towards the middle of this month. I don't know that I've ever actually had a diagnosed case of the flu. (Knock on wood) Hopefully my luck will hold up this year as well.

Never got one until I got cancer last year and started taking monthly treatments for it. Causes my immune system to weaken so I got one last fall and will get one next week or so.

I wouldn't get it regardless because it's never protected me when I've gotten it in the past (just bad luck), but I especially won't this year because I already battled Flu A a little over a month ago.

The Flu sucks, and the older I get the worse it seems to be. Knocked me out for a solid 2 weeks and I still have a lingering cough from the upper respiratory agitation.

I had an adverse reaction to a flu shot a couple of years ago and I refuse to take another one.
I began suffering from a form of rheumatoid arthritis and had to take low dose steroids to counter the effect for almost 18 months.
So never again....
