Before you try convincing yourself we are, just stop. There was nothing surprising or unusual in how this game went. It’s the same all season. We have by far the worst position group of any on the field at a critical spot. As good as our defense is, the offense, and receivers specifically crush any advantages we could have. Most games we are still the better team despite the receiver issues, but against the top contenders, at this moment, we are not.

I get the post game frustration, but a different pass by Mahomes in the EZ and Kelce not fumbling and we win going away, despite the death by 1000 drops and the unbalanced referees. Or MVS does his most basic job. It was a game where every thing went wrong and we lost by 4 against the team with the best record in the NFL. We beat them in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

I get all that. But none of these mistakes were surprising. That’s the point. Kelce fumble a bit surprising for who he is, but a red zone fumble this season is all too common. Mahomes INT too common. The way we ran and played defense we “should” have won but we didn’t because the issues we’ve had all season were once again abundant.

But of course the glaring receiver issues stand out and rightfully so. We can’t just hand wave those away though as they aren’t going to change this season and say “if they just played better…” it’s a huge part of our team given we are a passing team.

Most games don't have 2 red zone turnovers and 5+ drops in the same game. Yes, that combination of mistakes is surprising. It took all of those things happening in a single game for us to lose.

We ****ing dominated that game and gave away 14 points and then decided didn’t know how to catch the ball. **** off with this BS. Even Eagles fans will say they have no idea how they won this game. Plus the complete incompetent officiating. Again, **** off.

Huh? I came out of that game completely opposite of that. If we have ONE NFL #2 or #1 WR we win this game going away. Like not even close. Many of us have been saying this all year and before the year. Why does nobody get it?
