Tyreek Hill Admits Travis Kelce Jealousy Led to Chiefs Trade Request

Tyreek Hill just can't stop talking about the Chiefs, can he?
After L'Jarius Sneed and Trent McDuffie smothered Hill in the Chiefs' Week 9 victory, the former Chiefs' star has been anxious to get back at his former team.
Now, he's claiming Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce's close relationship ultimately led to his departure from Kansas City.
See for yourself:
Tyreek Hill Jealous of Travis Kelce's Relationship with Patrick Mahomes

"Pat had Kelce and I was kinda jealous," admitted Hill to Robert Griffin III. "Patrick, you ain't never invite me over to your house like you did Kelce."
"You always invited Kelce," he continued. "That's why we here where we at now."
Hill would continue by making comments rooted in misogyny, but the point he was making is clear. He wanted to be Mahomes' favorite target and that would never happen with the greatest tight end of all time on the roster.
The Chiefs may face Hill again in the playoffs and it's safe to say the trade ultimately worked out well for both parties. Hill is on pace for the most receiving yards in NFL history, while Kansas City won the Super Bowl last year and sit as the favorite to win the AFC once again.
Until Hill gets to face the Chiefs again, it seems he'll just keep talking to stay in the news.

$$$ led to that trade. That's it. End of story. Unless you are Tyreek Hill, then the story never ends and always changes to fit his narrative.

I think so. He played hardball because he felt he had been underpaid for a few years and wanted to make it up.

It is what it is. Chiefs are not asking players play for free but they do seem to want to have their elite players near top but not at top.

That's the thing, though. No one with any sense of reality is gonna blame Ty for rolling out to Miami to get his bag. Good for you, Bro. I would have done the same thing. The problem is that he just can't stop talking about it and blaming others for why he left. It's weird, but then again, we are talking about Tyreek Hill, so...

My contact within the Chiefs org said that Hill was like a day away from signing for 23mil per year when the D.Adams deal happened. After that, his agent backed out and went shopping.

Hill left because the Fins payed him a boat load. That and the offensive system has him the main focal point to where he is in the running for league MVP.

I've completely lost track of all the reasons he left. Is anyone keeping a list? I feel like we should have one.

I don't think he's blamed me yet, but maybe I missed it.

He actually did blame you.

He was very upset that you haven't hosted another Chiefs Planet Mansionmania Tournament in more than 2 years.

The ones I can think are:

1) Money
2) Jealousy
3) Fresh Start
4) Usage

Wanting to live in Miami and improving his legacy may have been factors as well.

Since receivers are not judged that much by ring count, Hill proving himself with a 3rd qb(Smith, Mahomes, Tua) and second team arguably helps his legacy more than 3-4 titles would in KC.

Hill has a legit shot to finish in the top 1-2 in MVP in Miami and chances are he can't do that in KC.

He acts like a jealous ex 'cause he's basically a jilted woman.

We are what we are I guess. If he quit slapping people around I wouldn't mind if the two kissed and made up. Everyone would benefit.

Perhaps Hill's sanity most...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
