Return from I.R. Super Bowl
Are there any players who could return from I.R. for the Super Bowl?

I don't think it would happen but I wonder where Cook is in his recovery.

I think Andy mentioned it in a Press Conf several weeks ago that it would be highly unlikely that Cook could even make it back if they got to the SB

Not so much IR but getting Gay and Thuney back would be a pretty big deal.

Only rumors, but that's what the rumors were. As for Gay - man, he's gotta be back, right? I just can't see him 'giving it a shot' pre-game but not being ready in 2 weeks. Fortunately, the 49ers don't have a Madubuike so I'm not as worried about not having Thuney in that game. Allegretti can get the job done against the 49ers interior line. Especially since SF doesn't utilize much in the way of complicate blitz packages that would create communication problems. We don't need Thuney as much against SF as we did against Baltimore.

Getting Skyy back for depth wouldn't be a bad thing

Upon further review I don't even want to think about what it would look like if Rice got injured so let's just have Rice be healthy and keep Skyy and Toney on the bench.

God no, I wouldn't. At least Mecole has shown he can be serviceable up to a point. Skyy can't do a single ****ing thing.
