DirecTV with Free Sunday Ticket

I've been looking to bundle phone/Internet/TV recently and went through the available options. All the deals are pretty similar when you add everything up, but AT&T won the battle. I already have their phone and Internet service and both have been fine. Cable service is faster for Internet, but 3Mbps DSL is fast enough for me.

Anyway, getting DTV through AT&T gives me Sunday Ticket for 2009 for free. Not a bad deal.

Just thought I'd pass this along to anyone interested.

I've seen them structure this deal several different ways. Last year I think you had to buy ST and they gave you 4 months of the Platinum package. How does it work this year?

This is through AT&T and I didn't see anything similar elsewhere.

Basically, I get all channels for five months including Sunday Ticket for $54.99, then I'll switch to the 200+ channel deal for $34.99 after that. AT&T gives a $5/month discount on any plan of $39.99 or more. Of course, after one year the price goes up, but it's still a much better deal than Time Warner offers. I also gained a discount on my phone/Internet doing this bundle.

Direct TV through AT&T ?? Thats strange. Im suprised they were not trying to push UVerse on you?
