@AdamSchefter: Chiefs HC Andy Reid said he plans to go to camp this summer with former No. 1 overall pick Eric Fisher playing left tackle.

I'll play that hindsight game all day. Meanwhile, "Gotta take a QB!" have that list.

That's some serious revisionism there. You were balls deep with Cassel and that "someone other than Sanchez" ended up being Tyson Jackson, who you also defended tooth and nail.

It's cool. We've all been wrong. You can admit it.

I'd probably be inclined to agree with you if we hadn't already tried that approach...

And failed...

Hmm... And what's the best way to do that?

Hint: It's something the Chiefs have not legitimately tried to do for 3 decades. And the brightest ray of hope re: the Dorsey and Reid regime is that they supposedly see the importance of it.

I was in favor of Raji over Jackson, and we can still go looking for that revisionism all you want.

I'm a Patriots fan who had followed this place a bit, and then started posting after Pioli was hired. I was interested in how other fan bases would be reacting to both him and McDaniels. Because this place can be a lot of fun, and it has some really good threads, I've stuck around. That seems to bother people like Boss Chief, which tells me that it was the right thing to do.

Well yea because when you 49ers and Patriots people flock to the Chiefs as your second home/team and then get into arguments with Chiefs fans, that don't know anything else other than mediocrity and losing, while you are coming from teams that have actually won something, your takes are skewed.

Chiefs fans wouldn't have these debates or threads if we had Tom Brady or that 49ers defense. We would actually enjoy the rewards, not go to a Titans forum and register as a new member because we follow former Chief great, Dexter McCluster and then weigh in on why the Titans are a tread water franchise to their fans who have won nothing.

You talk as if it's been all rainbows and puppies. I dealt with 5-11, 1-15, 6-10, 2-14, 5-11. Every fan base has some cross to bear. Before 2001, we hadn't won a Super Bowl, and our shining moments were a 3-0 lead before the bitchslapping began in 1965, and Desmond Howard beating the shit out of us while our Head coach was plotting his exit in 1996.

None of what you wrote explains the stupidity of "Gotta take Sanchez! Gotta take a QB!".

There's no excuse, short of severe reerunation, for that crap.
