You're asking the Chiefs to nail a day 1, year 1 impact contributor in the draft and they couldnt even do that with the #1 pick last year. But they are going to do that at 23? Without the rookie going through some sort of growing pains/learning curve?

I would rather depend on a winning strategy than lay up on a safe strategy that gives us a three year window on a team that still has long shot odds.

And we haven't taken a big step backwards. A few good picks and scrap moves and we could easily be as good if not better than last year.

That's the difference between me and most on here. I think the Chiefs window with this current roster is now while most here think the Chiefs window is 2038 or something. And thus I'm seen as a bitcher all because I want to cheer for a team that wins now.
