My thoughts on Grayson...
Throws a beautiful deep ball but it might not have the velocity needed in the NFL. Lacks arm strength on most other throws as well. If not for this he'd have a solid shot at being day 1 prospect. Probably a 4th round developmental type you hope can develop arm strength ala Drew Brees. |

@nfldraftscout: Best arm here so far is Garrett Grayson.
@AllbrightNFL: Largest hands in this QB class so far: Bryce Petty and Garrett Grayson. Smallest: Blake Sims and Sean Mannion. @TonyPauline: Impressed with Garrett Grayson/QB/Colorado State this afternoon. Throws a nice ball and making good reads/decisions. @NFLDraftGeek: Garrett Grayson #ColoradoState is BY FAR the best quarterback down here on either squad! @Joe_Fann: I think Garrett Grayson throws the most natural deep ball of any QB at the #SeniorBowl. @PewterReport: Garrett Grayson throws a pretty ball on short & intermediate passes. Tight spiral and gets there accurately and on time.

@SidelineBlitz: So in the first quarter, looks like Colorado State's Garrett Grayson outplayed Baylor's Bryce Petty. A new crop of starters coming in now.
@NickTristSGD: Bryce Petty - 7/11 84yds 1int Garrett Grayson - 3-7 47yds

^^^^ Agree with Sac... 1st round, no damn way. If he's around mid-2nd then I'd think about it, but likely hope he'd fall to the 3rd.
