For instance, recently when gender pay equality was a hot topic, she put out a bit about how one time she got like 1/2 the pay a man comedian got on the same night.

Turns out, the people involved are still alive and sentient, and they clarified that the 'man comic' had a contract to headline that night, and she begged the club manager for some taxi money after showing up to open mic afterwards.

Or she'll tweet shit like 'Vote Hillary, she has a VAGINA!!"

That kind of stuff.
Ah. So she is just a c word. Got it. Thanks.

I sometimes wonder if there isn't a chicken and egg thing going on with obnoxious opinions and comedians.

I mean their livelihood depends on finding new things to say that makes people laugh, so they're constantly in their heads, trying to come up with angles and make connections that point out absurdity or irony.

And a lot of humor involves suspending critical thinking for a moment and enjoying the effort to entertain.

I mean is there much difference between pretending that airline food is the worst food on earth when it's actually just mildly mediocre, and pretending that this or that politician or political opinion is the ****ing holocaust when it's actually just a difference of opinion?

Much the same way that engineers and chess masters spend their lives solving concrete problems, and then turn into relatively literalist right wingers.

It's neither, it's more that when she gets political she's not good at it.

Like the pay equity example above, the ugly fat white men who are mildly irritated were NOTHING compared to the backlash she got from people who take pay equity seriously, pissed that her clueless white knighting and appropriation of their issue was more harmful to the conversation than actual opponents.

Kind of like when Kelly Osbourne white knighted undocumented Mexicans by saying 'if Trump sends them all back to Mexico, who'll clean our toilets.'

She really doesn't need to point out that her ass is large. It's self-evident.

Only if I were certain she wouldn't enjoy it. Otherwise, I'd let her burn.
