Funny we had a 29 years gap between playoff and they act like it the end of the world. Cry me a ****ing river.

I'm talking, still have his Tennessee game jersey fans.

That was HILARIOUS. Made the pain of being a Chiefs fan a tad more bearable for a night.

Lol. I love how this team makes enemies of people who just can't process what happened to them. First those Orioles chumps, now these Blue Jays nerds.

I really don't get why people are saying the Mets fans are nice.

Some of those guys are posting like they've never seen a ****ing baseball game in their lives.

Did they not watch any of the Giants' championships from 2010-2014? They play the exact same way we do.

There's more than one way to skin a cat in the postseason, but there IS a particular style of play that will generally lead to greater postseason success than others.

We've got it. The Mets with their shitty ass ****ing defense do not have it.

Mets fans are boisterous butt****s. I had so many of them taking shit on Facebook today defending that piece of shit ASSGAARD that I stopped responding.

Funny how none of them say a thing after getting their asses whipped.

And BTW, Mets fans, if you're reading this, ASSGAARD isn't special. Maybe a 9-7 record with an ERA of 3.47 is special to you morons but he's not Tom Glavine or Roger Clemons.

And I hope the "Dark Knight" has the Batmobile driven up his ass.

The funny thing is half of our game threads are complaining about the FOX announcers. Then you look at the Blue Jays and Mets forums and it's even worse. They're going nuts over how much Buck and Reynolds are homering it up for the Royals. It's always funny to me how that works.

Perfect example of cognitive bias. The positive talk when the Royals is largely ignored because you already believe they're good and the talking heads aren't telling you anything new. But when it's on the other team, it's not the same shit you've always heard, so it seems to register a lot of more - particularly if it's over-the-top a bit and annoying.

I read the Blue Jays meltdown after game 2 and several times there were posts that were just "Royals baseball".... so yeah, other fans get tired of hearing about how the Royals are such a great contact hitting team, never strike out, are so relentless, etc.

What's even stranger is that opposing team's fans are unwilling to believe it.

I've told several of my Mets friends about the Royals and their answer is always "They haven't faced OUR pitchers".

When did a guy that goes 9-7 with a 3.47 ERA become Sandy Koufax?

Exactly.

The Orioles said, "The Royals have a great bullpen, but it's no match for our hitters. They can't compete with us in any way at all."

Same shit with the Blue Jays. It's hilarious to see that the Blue Jays fans actually believed dynamically changing the makeup of the best players on your team at the trade deadline meant you were "destined" for a World Series. It's hilarious to watch them stew and pout like we ate all their ****ing Halloween candy.

And the Mets fans are doing the same ****ing shit.

Man, I look back fondly on the days when the Astros fans humbly acknowledged that the series could go either way, and if the Astros didn't pull it off, it's because they weren't the best team in that series.

These assholes are simply ****ing incapable of acknowledging that there MIGHT be a better baseball team out there than their piece of shit no-defense ****faced team of shitasses.

I love the Jay's forum thread. They're talking about how boring Royals baseball is, because real baseball is hitting homeruns. A bunch of base hits and great running to score is boring to them.

Its not going to last long because we're winning 3 straight.

And in one of them we'll take down the vaunted KC bullpen.

Like, was there a single person on this board that said, "The Colts weren't better than us!" after we got fist****ed in 2013?

This is how you turn into petegz28. By refusing to accept reality as the true decider of events.
