I'm not taking sides on this, or even adding this because of your current discussion.

Was only wondering if you or anyone else has an opinion on Football Outsiders' stats, like Offensive Rushing DVOA and rankings.

Currently have the Chiefs rushing rank at #28.

You realize using averages to definitively prove a point 3 games into the season is pretty worthless, right? Unless you think Isaiah Crowell is the best running back in the league..

And what do the Chiefs have to do with anything?

Because I said the Chiefs should be able to run the ball against the Steelers, and that's what started this debate.

All three of those teams starting RB's are among the worst in the NFL, as is their ruining games in general.

This is a fact that you somehow are unaware of, despite me providing the YPC stats from both angles as proof. Starters have shit YPC #'s. Rushing offenses too. It's as simple as that.

Kinda like you trying to tell me the Colts haven't had a shit defense for years now, and that Bortles wasn't being overrated by being put in the top 50 or due for a regression with a tougher schedule this year. You'd think you've never watched an NFL game outside of KC in your life based on our arguments on the subject.

And I'm trying to explain to you that using averages to get a good read on things from such a small sample size is pretty futile. But, if you can definitively say so then I guess Charc West>>>>>Ware and Crowell>>>>> Gurley and Peterson, etc... Ok, we'll go with that...

Why are you bringing up old arguments anyway? I used statistics from a 3 year span in order to bolster my argument about the Colts defense not being as bad as you claimed and, IIRC, their defense had only given up somewhere between 22-24 PPG during that stretch. Hardly as bad as you were making it out to be.

I hardly even remember the argument we had about Bortles, but the dude had just thrown for 35 TDs and the Top 100 is a prediction of the coming season. It only makes sense that a young QB who just had a promising season would be ranked so high based on potential. He deserved to be ranked highly.

IIRC, I made your shit list after I wasn't concerned with your doom and gloom about Poe's back prior to the start of last season. "I slipped muh disk and couldn't leave muh double-wide for 4 months!!"

Poe is a freak of nature and you're just some douche. Sorry, but maybe you should let it go.

Jeremy Hill has averaged less than 4 YPC for 19 games now.

If it weren't for a solid game against the shitty Cowboys defense, Jones would be averaging less than 4.0 YPC like he did all of last year, and 2 out of 3 games so far this season. He wasn't a very good in college either at UF. He sucks.

Ryan Matthews has been below average for years now. He will lose his job to Smallwood at some point this season.

These are in fact a "bad group of RB's". I don't see how that's not obvious. I'm not basing this just off of the first 3 games like you're accusing me of.

I'm bringing up old arguments because I see a pattern with you every time we have a debate about NFL football outside of KC. That pattern being you're way out of touch and overall clueless on the subject.

I think you say that about everyone who disagrees with you. I watch football all day on Sundays. I'll tell you like I tell your father Dane, check the "other games" threads.

That was something that I brought up before final cuts. Sherman is a really good fullback. But is he worth a roster spot? Put Ware and JC or Ware and West in. Either hand it to Ware, or let him be the fullback. that would also open him up even more over the middle if they run a play designed to have Ware blocking, then fake the handoff to JC/West and pass it to a likely uncovered Ware up the middle.

Our line hasnt exactly been bulldozing people off the LOS this year, I'd rather keep Sherman and actually use him as a blocker more than 4-5 times a game

I'd prefer to keep him in that game AT MINIMUM 1/3 of the snaps.

We have runners. HELP THEM...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
