Chiefs 15th...Raiders 7th: Week 5 BES Rankings

Link - http://besreport.com/week-5-bes-rankings-2016/

My latest set of rankings has the Chiefs ranked 15th overall...Raiders ranked 7th. Chiefs defense ranked 11th...Raiders offense ranked 3rd. Chiefs offense ranked 25th.....Raiders defense ranked 24th.

The Raiders have by far the highest 'Pass Protection' score of all 32 teams. This is the biggest obstacle for the Chiefs because applying pressure on Carr will be paramount to any success the Chiefs hope to have on defense.

On offense, if Charles is 100% or close to it, then that's a HUGE boost because there is ZERO worthtwhile film on him this season and he could potentially wreck the Raiders on the ground and in the air. But so much mystery surrounds his status, it's hard to get too amped up about his impact on this game.

Another positive for the Chiefs offense is the Raiders lackluster pass rush. The numbers point to an advantage here for KC...but numbers don't take into account the intensity of the rivalry. Hopefully, an effective ground game opens things up a bit for Smith and the WRs/TE. Otherwise, it could be a long and ugly day offensively for KC.

Raider Week!!

I'm not even sure we should be 15th right now.

apparently this team is a worthless sack of crap without Houston

I think Reid and Sutton should both give half their salary to Houston since they suck without him.

I'm not sure, but he may be including defunct teams like the Pottstown Maroons and Canton Bulldogs.

I'll be honest - as much as I'd love it - I'd be VERY surprised if we see the same Charles we have, historically - who knows tho? I guess we'll see soon enough.

If the chiefs lose, I think you need to reexamine your 'overall' scoring algorithm.

Your offense and defensive have been pretty close for a few weeks but the other categories have been given too much weight PERHAPS.

Just a thought because if you ONLY look at your offense and defense, it seems about right....but the overall always puts them a bit too high IMO
