Like someone said earlier, you either can throw on the run or you can't. Trent Green was absolutely terrible at it. Alex Smith is so bad at it he doesn't even try it anymore, he just runs out of bounds.

Patrick Mahomes might already be in the top 25% of the league in his ability to place the ball accurately when throwing on the run.

I'm going B only because it's a preseason game. He's got all the talent and skills needed to be a franchise QB. Damn, it's nice to be able to say that. First loss of the season you'll starting hearing QB controversy talk.

More than two or three games in a row scoring less than 20 points and it will begin...

More like Top 5%. His success or failure will be all about his ability to read defenses and make the proper plays in the pocket. He has elite physical ability and that includes outside the pocket.

At the very least, I don't know if I want him challenging the defender on every single run. I thought he took some big hits running the ball that he didn't have to take.
That last hit he took before being pulled looked like his head snapped back and hit the turf kind of hard. He's 21 so he's going to be able to take them but they work on ya after a couple years.

Kid looks like the sky is the limit but still needs some polishing. Nothing new but wow, that kid can toss the rock.

Watching him and Bray play you can just see the talent level difference. I actually think Bray could be a good QB if he has a top 3 OL but Pat is just a different level of talent. He's not ripped but just a solid built dude. I'm starting to see the Big Ben comparisons.

The funny thing about Mahomes' 10/14 for 88 yards is that the Alex bashers would claim that it was a " pedestrian" stat line.

God Almighty.

Those strikes up the middle...

I...I...thought that part of the field was off-limits to KC QB's.

Just watching this and thinking about, remembering all of the completely useless SHIT this franchise has had to endure at that position...

I really can't put this in to words right now.
