There’s a heaping helping of stupid in this thread with a side of vaginal bleeding. Hunt made a series of mistakes and then lied about it. He knew about the leagues stance on violence towards women and he still acted like a dumbass. He deserved to lose his job just like any of us would lose our jobs if a video surfaced of us shoving and kicking a woman, especially if we lied about it.

It sucks, but Clark made the only call he could. Those of you saying “I’m done” can get the **** out.

Yes the situation sucks, but the Chiefs will be fine.

Spencer Ware obviously has plenty of experience as the Chiefs starting RB. The Chiefs have solid RB depth and of course they have #15.

Also this is why having an even-keeled/veteran HC in Andy Reid is important. He's been through this type of drama before and will adapt and guide the team through this temporary turmoil.

If the Eagles can win a Super Bowl with their franchise QB going down with a knee injury in December last year, then the Chiefs can overcome this.

The Chiefs had the most physically gifted offense the NFL has ever seen and couldn’t even keep them together for one full season.

Because Chiefs.

I find it hard to believe that this was the first time the Chiefs saw the video.

Even if it was, you dismiss the player from your facilities and then release him without trying to find out why he lied or if he just didn't remember because he was drunk or some shit?

Seems a bit extreme. You give a 2nd chance to a guy who punches his pregnant girlfriend but have no tolerance for a player shoving a racist and then kicking her in a manner that probably didnt even leave a bruise? Is the difference in each instance really just that one has video evidence the public has seen?

It's amazing to me that so many of you agree with BlackOps that the NFL is rigged and and there are hundreds of people in on it. And that you spend hours of threads discussing.

But here believe that this situation was just something Hunt lied about and the NFL and the Chiefs lacked full awareness of. Because the hotel didn't divulge it? Seriously? Until somehow it wound up with TMZ?

So, it's more likely hundreds of NFL employees and officials keep fixing or skewing hundreds of games (without anyone providing evidence) than the NFL and Chiefs saw the video but now pretend it's new information.

You guys... Come on.

Obviously it needs to be repeated since people apparently aren't getting it...

Kareem Hunt was not released simply because he hit/pushed/kicked a woman... he was released because he lied about it and was exposed by the video that the Chiefs saw today.

So stop with the Tyreek Hill comparisons.

Hunt was released because he lied about a serious incident.

the NFL and the Chiefs say they didn’t see the video until today. The hotel wouldn’t release it to them back in February. True or not, that’s what they are saying.
