Having more teams in the postseason does not help us. Lunacy to expand from 6. NFL finally had it perfect. Look at the NBA playoffs. First rounds are terrible and dilutes the regular season.

Also, any elimination of one of the byes in the AFC is a terrible thing for the top teams. You need to rely on that to be able to secure your ride to the Super Bowl. Getting the overall #1 AFC seed is hard, and it can come down to luck and who played the easier schedule. TWO byes per AFC and NFC is a must have to stay.

Yep. You're going to start seeing "load management" when teams are eliminated from the 1 so they start to rest players because they know that all they have to do is get to 8-8 or 9-7 and will get into the playoffs. Imagine paying $350 plus plane, hotel, taxi, food, etc only to find out Andy is sitting the starters and you get to to watch Gehrig Dieter catch passes from Matt Moore.
