The first one that came to mind was Almost Famous.
"America" Simon & Garfunkel "Sparks" The Who "It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference" Todd Rundgren "I've Seen All Good People: Your Move" Yes "Feel Flows" The Beach Boys "Fever Dog" Stillwater "Every Picture Tells a Story" Rod Stewart "Mr. Farmer" The Seeds "One Way Out (Live)" The Allman Brothers Band "Simple Man" Lynyrd Skynyrd "That's the Way" Led Zeppelin "Tiny Dancer" Elton John "Lucky Trumble" Nancy Wilson "I'm Waiting for the Man" David Bowie "The Wind" Cat Stevens "Slip Away" Clarence Carter "Something in the Air" Thunderclap Newman Another one is from an old 80's movie called Teachers, which has sadly kind of faded into obscurity. Edge of a Dream is one of my favorite songs. "Teacher, Teacher" - 38 Special "One Foot Back in Your Door" - Roman Holliday "Edge of a Dream" - Joe Cocker "Interstate Love Affair" - Night Ranger "Foolin' Around" - Freddie Mercury "Cheap Sunglasses" - ZZ Top "Understanding" - Bob Seger "I Can't Stop the Fire" - Eric Martin & Friends "In the Jungle (Concrete Jungle)" - The Motels "(I'm the) Teacher" - Ian Hunter And who could forget Top Gun. "Danger Zone" Kenny Loggins "Mighty Wings" Cheap Trick "Playing with the Boys" Kenny Loggins "Lead Me On" Teena Marie "Take My Breath Away" Berlin "Hot Summer Nights" Miami Sound Machine "Heaven in Your Eyes" Loverboy "Through the Fire" Larry Greene "Destination Unknown" Marietta "Top Gun Anthem" Harold Faltermeyer & Steve Stevens |

I wore out the Spawn soundtrack.
Awesome thread idea with excellent choices to date. Almost Famous, Pretty In Pink (all the Hughs films for that matter), and Rockstar in particular. Soundtrack to The Song Remains The Same is pretty good. haha Dave Groh's Sound City is good. Last edited by eDave; 09-14-2020 at 11:55 AM.. |
