What in the ****?
I mean for the love of God, you have to draft some offensive linemen. Waiting until he end of the 4th is too risky. |

Also would prefer to go younger at safety over keeping Sorensen, but not the end of the world I suppose. |

Otherwise, we're pretty much set along the starting line everywhere but center. LDT is our RG, no question. Fisher our LT. Allegretti should be in line to get another year at LG. A big question, of course, is how Niang is coming along. And Kilgore is serviceable. The team loves Remmers' ability to play all 4 positions, and in this hypothetical, they bring him back. Durant is showing promising early returns at RT. And we know they like Wylie and Rankin. I'm assuming right now that Niang is a good RT. If that's the case, we definitely need depth at guard and maybe a starting center. Meanwhile, I disagree with you guys: I think we're starving at several positions: DE, CB, OLB, and probably WR with Watkins departing. I'd like to see us bring Breeland and Watkins back but I don't think we can wave a magic wand with them two years in a row. |

LDT is our RG for 2021 then he's gone. There is no way I'd extend him or sign him to another contract. The draft I about the long term, and while I think you are wise in signing Fisher to an extension, there is nothing but uncertainty at the other four positions if Schwartz retires.
Left guard has been a turnstile. Center is nothing to write home about. Allegretti and Niang are still question marks. I think you have to look at offensive linemen high in the draft, I get not spending a 1st rounder on one, but you better be spending a 2nd or 3rd on the position. The Chiefs are not spending much at all in the o-line, so we better be investing in it through the draft. Besides Fisher we have nothing invested. It would be wise to invest some draft capital to protect Mahomes and allow us to run the ball better between the tackles. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/kansas-c...2022/full-cap/ Last edited by Hoover; 11-12-2020 at 01:55 PM.. |

Yeah. I think we’re drafting an OL early. The IOL is made up of JAG’s and our OT’s are starting to get long in the tooth.

Add a power RB like Spencer Brown to compete with Darrel Williams and Thompson

OC Josh Myers, Ohio St., with our 1st round pick would solidify the interior OL immensely, imo.

I completely understand everybody's reticence to wait in the draft to go OL.
But what position are you willing to shortchange in order to do it? We have no top tier passrush on the edge outside of Clark. We have no real talent at LB unless Gay develops (which I assume he will), and our CB corps will take a step back if/when Breeland moves on. At the same time, I'm not sure we can retain Watkins and that leaves us Hardman as the #2. |

We got away with murder having Ward as a starter in the playoffs last year, though, and early returns this year are that he's regressed a bit. The coaching staff knows best, and I defer to them. I'm just reading the tea leaves. |

$5 million for Robinson?
Re-signing Remmers? It also appears that you've cut most of the offensive lineman and defensive lineman. How are the Chiefs going to field a defensive line next year with "no notable signing"? The Chiefs would win around 7 games with this "plan". |

Love this draft! But we gotta keep our DL intact.
