Starting new after the trade. Let’s see how many can get both picks with 15 guesses.
Carlos Basham - doubt he drops to 58 but YES Payton Turner - Maybe Ronnie Perkins - not a scheme fit/traits don’t correlate to Spags profile Jabril Cox - Maybe, but other positions higher need Baron Browning - as above, but great athletic profile. SAM only Elijah Molden - YES Aaron Robinson - would be happy Kelvin Joseph - character concerns, no thanks Paulson Adebo - reach here. Probably relegated to outside Landon Dickerson - Yes, but solid C prospects exist in mid rounds Quinn Meinerz - as above Josh Myers - reach Dyami Brown - YES Tylan Wallace -YES Tommy Tremble - Luxury. Love the player, but there are bigger needs in these draft slots. The Chiefs probably have a bead on some of the free agent holes they can fill with veterans post draft and I think that might figure into where they go with their picks.. Melvin Ingram and KJ Wright have got my attention and to a lesser degree the TE and running back rooms could add a cheap veteran prescence in the form of T.J. Yeldon, Adrian Peterson or even Todd Gurley if they can be had for cheap. |

Of this list I would love Elijah Molden and Jabril Cox. I think our "X" can be found in later rounds as well as C.
Check it... First 2nd round pick [IMG][/IMG] Second 2nd round pick [IMG][/IMG] This helps the "D" after an awesome revamp of the oline. These are my choices.

Are you serious? I DO NOT want us to use a 2nd round pick on a WR. This guy is an ILB who can cover in space. Solidify the D now. The oline is addressed.

Not to mention we have the opportunity to have starting linebackers named Gay and Cox. We have to do it for comedy value alone.

Boogie Bashem, DE, Wake
Ronnie Perkins, DE, Oklahoma Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Egypt/USC Dyami Brown, WR, UNC Jabril Cox, LB, LSU Quinn Meinerz, IOL, Wisconsin-Whitewater Aaron Robinson, CB, UCF Kelvin Joseph, CB, Kentucky Chazz Surratt, LB, UNC Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami Peyton Turner, DE, Houston Amari Rodgers, WR, Clemson Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford Jevon Holland, S, Oregon Patrick Jones II, DE, Pitt It's a good group of players. Lots of options, with edge rushers who can contribute Year 1 in situational rush roles, WR who can work the middle, a quriky, mauling IOL, and some coverage LB with upside.

I might be wasting spots on Asante Samuel Jr. and Nick Bolton as I doubt they make it to #58... but if they do... I think they are the Chiefs picks.

Not in any order but grouped by position.
Jabril Cox, LB, LSU Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri Peyton Turner, DE, Houston Carlos Basham Jr., Wake Forest Elijah Moulden, S, Washington Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford Aaron Robinson, CB, UCF Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami Pat Freiermuth, TE, Penn St. Hunter Long, Boston College Dyami Brown, WR, UNC Terrance Marshall Jr., WR, LSU Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, USC Amari Rodgers, WR, Clemson Landon Dickerson, C, Alabama I disagree on the importance of drafting a LB. Chiefs don't keep very many so each one is important. Anthony Hitchens is signed for two more years but 2022 cap is around $12.7 M. I really hope that Gay is really good, but we don't have any idea yet. If Nick Bolton or Jabril Cox is there, I could see the Chiefs drafting. |

Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford or Elijah Moulden, S, Washington ------------------------------------------------------ #63 Jabril Cox, LB, LSU or Peyton Turner, DE, Houston Whichever way the Chiefs decide is fine with me. They already checked the boxes on the offensive line so time to turn to the D and let Spags decide what he wants to reinforce the defense. Everybody wins!
