The Chiefs' defense "only" gave up 33 in that game, fwiw... there was a pick 6, fumble returned for a touchdown, and 5 turnovers total.

History often gets rewritten looking at final scores, much like the Chiefs currently giving up so many points per game, largely due to turnovers and playing 4 of the top teams in the league all in the first four weeks.

And of course on the flip side, people see 35-0 and 40-0 and think the Bills' offense is doing amazingly things, when in fact they've benefited greatly from amazing field position.

I'd give it maybe 60/40 that it'll be a shootout and both teams will score more than 35, but for every time one of these gets hyped as being the first team to 50, I'd guess about half the time it doesn't work out that way.

Of course, would have expected them to look better against Jalen Hurts even given the 4 FGs or whatever, but will see who's back this week, too.

Well, we would have a less expensive shitty defense. I'm not sure if that's progress.

No matter how good the offense is, you still have to play at least respectable defense.

We're not doing that, at least not consistently, on that we can all agree.

KC has won 5 of the last 6 games against Buffalo. We have their number. Sometimes a team just has another team's number and I really do think that is the case here.

This is an interesting factoid...

Allen ranks third-worst in football when it comes to turnover-worthy plays, according to Pro Football Focus, ahead of just Zach Wilson and Trevor Lawrence.

Sounds like the most bullshittiest stat ive ever heard. I think one year that gay ass stat was used against Mahomes too.

"The Bills are 3-1 and rolling. Allen, however, has been somewhat inconsistent. After being poor the first two weeks, Allen was great in Week 3 to beat Washington but was average against the absurdly-bad Houston Texans."

Chris Jones missing a second straight day of practice to "rest" his injured wrist.

At least Frank Clark is practicing (although flying cross country from Philly after the game to LA for his court hearing and then back to KC this week probably isn't the best remedy for someone with jacked up hamstrings).

$34 million + of underachieving salary cap hits.

That is best recipe you could hope for and we didn't capitalize enough. We could have buried them 14 points and that changes their whole game plan on the other side.

Allen has dropped off 2020.

Looking at his stats overall he seems to be a little bit better than 2019 but worse than 2020.

He's still a good NFL starter but I would put him 11th overall, and not a top ten QB at this time.

6.7 yards per attempt, 96.4 Passer Rating, 57.2 QBR

Don’t worry, the league is sending Carl ****ing Cheffers to ensure a much closer game than it should be. Wouldn’t even be surprised he finds a way to **** us out of this game. Hate that guy.
