Some Things About Today's Game: Week 17 KC 31 Zebras 34

Some Things About Today’s Game Week 17: KC 31 Zebras 34

The Chiefs did not get their “Ass Whipped.” They lost on a field goal kicked on the final play of the game. So stow that “ass kicked” garbage. It’s not true.

This is the first time we’ve lost a game in the last eight games. This was on the road, missing our two starting tackles. When you lose your two starting tackles, things usually don’t go well. Go back and watch last years Super Bowl if you don’t believe that.

When you get outscored 17-3 in the second half of a shootout game, you don’t deserve to win. Go back and watch the KC-Tennessee playoff game from the Alex Smith era if you don’t believe that.

Chase had more yards receiving and more TDs than Mahomes had passing in both of those categories. If your DC can’t adjust to a guy who is burning you deep over and over, you don’t deserve to win.

The Bengals got six first downs awarded on penalties. Chiefs got Zero.

Get over the kickoff return call back. Anderson was holding. That’s what happens when you activate a practice squad guy in a big game. They make stupid mistakes. You have to just get past it. Chiefs didn’t. They only scored three points in the second half

If you put Sorenson on deep coverage, you deserve to lose. The first seven games of the season should have taught Spags that. If Sorenson is back on this team next year, something is seriously wrong with Bruce Valanche. When you give up a third and 27 deep in the fourth quarter, you deserve to lose.

The last minute of this game was eerily similar to the loss against the Raiders in Oakland three years ago. How many chances are the stripes going to give the Cincy offense to win? Five? Six? More??? Answer: Whatever it takes.

We may need to draft another offensive tackle next year. Niang seems to be injury prone and is unreliable for the long run of an entire NFL season. Get a Free Agent, or just keep Wiley starting at right tackle.

Silver Lining Stuff: Thuney is a very good offensive lineman. Hardman made a nice catch. Kelce got his 700th reception faster than any other tight end in the history of the NFL. Williams is a really good running back.

Future: We’ve probably lost the number one seed. Tits play the Texans next week. The Tits won’t make the mistake the Bolts made, and they’ll crush them. The winners of the other three divisions, Bills, Bengals and Tits, all beat us head to head in the regular season. So we have no complaint if we’ve lost the number one seed. That was the prize today, and this team failed to secure the prize. The guys needs to suck it up, prepare for Denver and get in the mind set to deal out some payback in the playoffs. That’s all I have to say about that. It’s very hard to make it to three Super Bowls in a row. We’re seeing how hard that road is now.

A brutal loss. No doubt. No matter what, we’re the AFC West Champions. Hopefully this will wake the team up and give them some motivation. Beat Denver. Beat them down. Beat them bad.

No. The only reason we lost is because Hammock didn't start the thread because he is afraid to upset the girl who's going to leave him at some point anyway. Just ask him.

Tough pill to swallow today. Hate blaming refs but holy shit that was a job.

Even so spags had an absolute shit game.

Andy hates Gore for some reason.

Why did Andy take the TO with 10 seconds on b4 2 min warning with clock already stopped?

Why not let them score and save TO for your all pro once in a generation QB to go down and tie it or go for the win with 2?

Didn't matter cuz refs gave them the game on a phantom hands to the face call.

Really rough losing a game like that because the officials really wanted the Bengals to win and that gives me less faith in this league. What's the point when they can take a game away from you just like that?

Trying to look past it. Take the 2 seed and win.

Oh and **** the NFL for getting rid of the bye for 2 seed and adding another playoff team.

I don't mind watching a good old ass-kicking.

A few teams have handed those to the Chiefs this year...

But this loss is def more than Chase just running deep. The refs destroyed our defense will in the second half. I'm proud of them for holding on the final 4 snaps before the refs have them a free first down to kick the game winner.

This game should have went to Overtime.

Come on guys

Find a place to send Ward & Sorenson. They did not just have a bad game today but constantly play marginally. Sure Sorenson has made some great plays in the last few games to atone for previous sins but overall he is weak. We need to lose these guys or the deep balls will always plaque us

I wont take anything away from Chase, he balled out and whipped everyone he faced fair and square... dude is spectacular

And Spags gameplan WAS absolute garbage, just inexplicable after the run we've had... but no one is ever going to convince me that this game wasn't steered by the refs

The NFL wanted a feel good story, and by God they made sure it happened
