Because The chicken littles claimed we were awful and were going as far as wanting Reid fired or that mahomes was unfixable. We had a pretty damn good season rebounding from major adversity. I don’t see any validation from the panic we saw earlier in the season. We lost in overtime in the afc championship game to a good team. I don’t know how anyone could be ashamed of that.

Sure, whatever. I don't think Mahomes needs a nickname. His actual name is cool enough.

I don't enjoy being correct about adverse assessments.

And I don't enjoy Chiefs fans being disappointed.

Like asking a gain of function whistleblower if he's enjoying the global pandemic.

I mean... if we lost because the defense was garbage, or the WR's dropped balls... or a big fumble or whatever... Mahomes is still the Reaper.

But Mahomes lost this game. His decisions were that of a rookie QB in the second half. He looked lost, he looked panicked, he looked unconfident. The second half was NOT Reaper material.

HOW THE **** did such a drastic change happen so fast. I just don't get it.

In the end, it wasn't the airplanes. It was field goals that killed this beast.
