That's a nice observation, my friend. He has a lot of weight on his shoulders with Tyreek gone along with this being his first contract year. Add Juju and Skyy running crisp routes and you can kinda see why he's a little sad. Needless to say he's going to give it his all. At the end of the day all you can be is the best version of yourself.

Unfortunately, Mecole's skill set could also be described as explosive but limited. He's never really going to break that mold, break ankles with fluid cuts in his route running. Seeing Skyy light it up has to make him feel a little insecure. He'll be fine though. He's always played his heart out.

Goodness gracious, he doesn't look a like rookie. That was blanketed. Had that not been a nice throw it would have been picked.

Side note, there's about his game that reminds me of HB. He's highly instinctive, mechanically pristine, and plays with a contagious edge. Him and Bolton may be the new faces of a freshly retooled defense sooner than later.
