Nothing political about a flu shot. Just curious where CP stands on getting one this year.

It's not so much about pissing/shitting on your hands as it is your junk being a warm moist place for germs, and spreading those germs after you've had your hands down there.

Just like how the flu shot isn't just about "never getting the flu", but potentially unknowingly spreading the flu by being one of the 70-80% of people who carry and spread it asymptotically.

I do get most advice from comedians who exaggerated things for laughs, but also spend 20 seconds washing my hands a few times/day, too, given how things actually work.

Don't know, last time I think I had one was almost 10 years ago.. It's odd my wife won't take medicine when she's sick and usually won't give it to our son unless she feels its truly necessary (luckily she's a Head/Supervisor RN so I give her the benefit of the doubt).

Got my latest covid booster and the flu shot at the same time. Had no issues.
I always get the flu shot since I got the flu and got sick for 3 days and didn't have the shot 6 years ago. Since then I haven't gotten the flu... probably luck but I prefer to be less sick if I do.

Yeah. Like a lot of people said here, I never got the flu.

Until I did.

First time, I was down for about 10 days. Then, two years later, I got it over Christmas and basically ruined Christmas for my kids (by the time I was feeling better, my boys had to go back to college).

After that, I said "**** it" and get the flu shot every year. If it can prevent getting the flu again even a little bit, it's worth it.

Damn. I thought those 3 days I had were bad. Definitely glad you got through that sounded terrible.
