Looking at the remaining schedule, that would be a disappointment.

Agreed. I also thought KC was going to be much better than many predictions on here and elsewhere. Only thing that could have impacted that would have been an injury to Mahomes. This team just knows how to win and will be a tough out for any team that faces them in the playoffs.

We are more dynamic on offense this year vs last because of more receiving options and the growth of Mahomes. We are better defensively although I didn’t think the secondary would be this good this quick. Also the defense got better through the subtraction of Hitchens, Sorensen, Mathieu, and Neimann.

In 19 seasons with New England, Tom Brady has played at home in the Championship game 6X. That’s it. And he only did it 2X in a row, no more.

Patrick Mahomes is on pace to play at home in the Championship game 5 years in a row. Every year as a starter.

That’s absolutely nuts.
