Superbowl Tickets

Is anyone else going to the superbowl? I bought a ticket - it sucks the NFL did away with physical tickets. You get your ticket texted to you on my damn iphone. Anyone go to the LIV superbowl? You got this awesome looking physical ticket with this nice miami artwork on it. A really nice keepsake to frame etc. Im just here to complain to someone. #firstworldproblems

I talked with OnLocation yesterday. They’re definitely willing to “wheel and deal” a little bit. I am hopeful they’ll deal a little more as it gets closer.

I have the money, and am still making money. That being said, it’s a lot of dough for a four hour event. I’ve tried all of the “bucket list” stuff with the wife, but she’s not going for it.

I live within driving range (about 5 hours). I’ll probably get up early Sunday and see if tickets have dropped a bunch. If I can score a last-minute deal, I’ll jump in my truck and hit the road.

Unless anyone here has a better solution…

Im complaining that the nfl is trying to save ~50k by being cheap and cut ticket printing and go 100% mobile - the physical superbowl ticket is arguably the coolest actual paper ticket in sports. It has really good artwork on it designed for the city hosting the game. Its great to frame afterwards.
what's funny is they're selling souvenir tickets, as if anyone wants that.

Well, it might not be legal. The Feds are already looking into the Ticketmaster/LiveNation thing to see if it's a monopoly.

I went to Miami Superbowl and bought my ticket Sunday to attend Sundays Superbowl as well. Used Tickpick and searched the end of the Internet trying to find out how to get a hard copy!

It DOES SUCK!

TickPick, Tickesforless, ticketclub and tickiq is where I hit refresh daily. Tickpick and Ticketiq had best deals daily.

The fees are percentage-based. Expensive tickets result in expensive fees. Film at 11.

Funnily enough, my wife is the one trying to talk me into it and I'm being the level headed one. We've got an expensive 1st Disney trip for the family coming up and I'm also passively watching the housing market trying to buy a house when we can. At this point, I'm willing to gamble that we'll be back at some point in the future.

For what it's worth, I just noticed that I received an email from an account representative at On Location congratulating the Chiefs for making it again and asking if I wanted to schedule a phone call with him to discuss tickets for this year's game. I won't be able to go, but the fact that they reached out like that is consistent with the other posts in this thread indicating that they may be willing to do a little wheeling and dealing on the total cost.

If someone who hasn't been to a Super Bowl is thinking about going but is on the bubble, I would tell them to do it.

You think it's fine they're charging almost 25% extra for fees? On top of the fees they already got for the tickets they sold at face value? I get fees, but charging $1100 in fees just to purchase digital tickets of their site is outrageous.

People need to not use the greedy one who sucks the peniss.
