Am I alone in thinking that was kind of a dick move? Patrick handled it fine, so maybe he knew whoever was asking, but it doesn't seem like press conferences are the place for prank questions.

I guess I don’t see the problem. This is the Super Bowl. 31 fan bases don’t really care what Patrick has to say about the eagles defense. He’s done a million of these in the same week answering the same questions. This is all for entertainment. Im sure Patrick enjoyed this more than answering the same canned questions over and over.

It was dumb, but I don't think Patrick cared that much. He was joking about it as he left the podium. It cuts off in the video above, but you can hear it at the end of the one below. Yep. These interviews, actually pretty much all of this pre-Sunday stuff is just for the casual fans/women/whoever. It's all just fluff in an attempt to give the game some backstories for those kinds of watchers, and there's going to be a ton of them, as there has been for every SB in the modern era.
