Yeah, and the Bengals get to play a Browns team that's waving the white flag and then the Broncos. If the Broncos lose against the Bengals they'll be playing just to get in.

Denver shouldn't care whether they play at Buffalo, Baltimore, or Pittsburgh.

But they still could play at Houston if the chips fall for them...that's way better than facing Buffalo or Pittsburgh. They won't play Baltimore

Both the Steelers and Ravens beat Denver and own the tiebreaker. I don't see Denver finishing #5 ahead of those teams.

Denver always plays us tough but with extra rest, that should be an easier matchup for the Chiefs than playing at Pittsburgh on little rest.

I'm just worried about seeing injuries on Christmas against a physical team. We had a later BYE than these other teams.

Mahomes was getting killed by Bonito and co versus Denver. Pittsburgh is physical and so is Denver. It's pick your poison. I'd rather rest against Denver and give some of the guys extended breaks heading into the playoffs.

So you'd rather face the Steelers on short rest as opposed to the Broncos on 15 days of rest? On paper, the Steelers are a more difficult opponent with their playmakers on defense and their WRs who excel at jump balls. Plus, a good TE.

And I'm aware the Steelers are playing today also.

I think it's better to be the road team in a holiday game. Hopefully more focused. Less distraction for players since you're not in your home town for the holiday.
