***The Sunday of NFL games without the Chiefs thread***

Just saw that the two early games on TV here in Phoenix area are Rams vs Jets and Cards vs Panthers.

Holy shit, looks like I can do something else for the first half of my day.

Agreed but you don’t get to just lose games all year and then be called the best team in the NFL not named the Chiefs based on sheer talent

I wonder when the last time a drop goal was scored in the NFL? As I understand it a player at any time can attempt one in open play. That could have been a possibility in that Patriots play.

Prepare yourself for the NFL to do everything to help the Bills win this. There’s no way they want the Xmas game to not matter

Their defense has been vastly better than Buffalo’s lately, and their offense is every bit as good.

Holy **** why are there Bengals fans all over the interweb screaming about how no one wants to play them as if they got any shot to make the playoffs still

They’d have to beat Denver and Pitt, Colts would have to lose to Giants or Jags, and Denver would have to lose to us week 18. Absolute insanity.

They're good enough to beat anyone, but that's true for a lot of other teams in the Top 10 of the league. I don't see any teams that are juggernaut unbeatable quality. Everyone has flaws. Hopefully this translates to some pretty good matchups in the Playoffs, hopefully much better than the poop show college playoff games this weekend.

Two more losses than the Bills against a way, way, way tougher schedule.

Maybe one more loss after today. And destroyed them H2H.

Denver and LAC hold the cards. They each need one more win. Denver could give give them that knock out blow next week.

Because you can still lose points on the play. This isn't an end-of-game situation where there's no downside. It's the same stupid mistake the Patriots made a couple years ago at the end of the game against the Raiders when it was tied and headed into OT. There's an outcome worse than simply not scoring.
