In my office fantasy league I'm tied 85 to 85 against one of my coworkers.

The funny part is that we both have one more player each to play... and guess who they are?

Yep, that's right, I've got Tony Richardson and he's got Ricky Watters.

Damn I'm gonna go crazy if we waste carries on Cloud... AGAIN!

I think we should start out passing to loosen the D up and then plow away with TR. All goal line carries will hopefully go through TR.

You took a Chiefs running back? Ouch. Have no fear that I'll be pulling for you but I think you may be in trouble. Thanks to the lackluster perfomances of Brunell, Jimmy Smith, Dorsey Levens, and Edgerrin James I
lost 111-33 yesterday!

And I know it's a fantasy football cardinal sin to take a Chiefs RB. However, I actually believed the hype earlier in the year when Gunther said that TR would be the feature back. So I took TR the late rounds thinking he would be a nice backup. Which he has been, but he could be a top 15 back if given the carries IMO.

Bob Dole was at Price Chopper and one of the clerks in the deli indicated that his brother lived in Jimmy Raye's neighborhood and JR mentioned that he selects which back and set to use based on national aggregate fantasy league numbers.

You should be okay.

Thanks AZChief...

this definitely adds additional spice to this matchup for me. We have a nice cash prize for the winner at the end of the year in my office league.

Dole,

He'd be better off if that was the way he decided to give out carries. It would do away with RBBC.

Don't feel bad Cannibal, I've got Elvis, T-Rich and Sly starting tonight. I'm normally not such a Homer, but the Chiefs have won their last 2 games with those 3 in my line up. I'm too superstisous(?) to take them out.

I'm losing in my local league by 7.59 points. I have Tony Gonzalez and KC Defense left (KC D has averaged 9 per week for me). I get 1 point for every 20yds. 4points for every TD by TG. 1pt for every sack, 2pts for every int or fumble recovery and 3points for a defensive TD. Against the Gals', I like my chances to win this week.

Cannibal,

For once, we are totally in agreement... albeit for different reasons.

I'm not a participant of FFL but, for a multitude of reasons (not the least of which is a possible Dillon trade), it is imperative that we find out what we have in Frank Moreau.

We know that TRich is a good runner and a great FB. We need to find out at what level Moreau can play HB ~ and to waist plays on Cloud would be a shame.

Having said that, I predict the first O play for the Chiefs will be Cloud up the middle.

Luz

Luz,

I was talking about that exact same thing w/ a co-worker.

I was just saying how much you wanna bet that the first play from scrimmage is Cloud up the middle?

Damn, I wish the coaches would realize it's a futile effort.

Cannibal,
It looks like you lost in FFL but I think that last carry by Cloud was worth it.

Yeah I did lose and I still hate RBBC.

Cloud did have a nice run... his first of the season.

But this team just seems to respond better with TRich and Kimble running the ball.

I would like to see TR and Kimble split the carries down the middle.

TR did get me 53 yards rushing...

Cannibal,
I did go NUTS when Cloud turned the corner - I knew he would score! Great Call! *grin*
