The coolest thing about it to me, is all of the great new bands/artists that i've discovered. I have 'ran into' some old pals, but not very many, it seems to be mostly younger people that get into it.

Another cool thing is that some of your fave celebs will actually correspond with you, Fred Armisen from SNL always replys to my messages.

Like here I've met some good Chiefs fans that I now call friends.I go to the forums now and then,movies and especially the rock music forum,there's a little group of younger guys over there that enjoy flaming newbies and go on a fishing expedition at every given opportunity and sometimes much hilarity is involved.

Other than that I use it for keeping in touch with a few people that I don't get to see very often.

Yeah, i wasnt5 a big fan of it at first, but its not that bad. As other people say, you can keep in touch with alot of people that way.

I do, to find old friends. In the 10 months since it's been up I have reunited with 5 friends I haven't seen or spoken to in 15 years

I like it for that. I have seen some of the other Planeteers pages and well, all I can say is that I am not on myspace to pick up chicks, heh.

That is true, I was just referring to the new applications they have where you can listen to music, have a top friends list, that kinda thing.
