Broncos want Chiefs safety

I know its old news but appears as fresh talks. I'm still against trading him to a rival.

Broncos want Chiefs safety
Posted: Tuesday July 24, 2007 10:24AM ET
The Broncos have repeatedly talked with Kansas City in the past month about the trade availability of safety Greg Wesley. Wesley's agent, Drew Pittman, confirmed the teams have talked because Wesley is hoping for a change of scenery and the Broncos are looking for depth at safety. The Broncos likely are offering a low-round pick and perhaps a backup player. The Chiefs are looking for help at cornerback

Ok - I'm out, later.
Then let me congratulate you on posting a dozen times about something you allegedly don't care about.

I'm not saying this is of maximum importance, I'm saying it's 1 in the morning in July. This is as football as we're going to get at the moment.

Yup. Wesley screws up a lot, but he makes plays too. Those that don't think he has any value will be in for a very rude awakening if Page or Pollard go down for a game or two. Not to mention that we have seen very little of Pollard at S. He could be a complete bust.

I actually don't remember Shanny offering low ball trades to divisional opponents. Does he do this often? The only teams he really rips are the Lions and Redskins. He sticks to the special ed front offices/owners.

I'd put my reputation on the line to say that Pollard will not disappoint.

It's a shoddy reputation, but still.

By the way, my math is accurate.

Broncos coughed up a 6th for Jamie Kennedy.

Greg Wesley > Jamie Kennedy.

A 5th is fair.

If they offer a 5th, trade him.

To the Broncos or anybody else.

I only care about what's good for the Chiefs.

Hmmm. Normally, I would rather have a root canal or wear a too-tight condom than disagree with Mr. htismaqe on matters of football. However, I don't believe that trading any player to the goats is good for the Chiefs. No way, no how.

If the goats want him, that's reason enough not to deal.

Yep, he might come to life for them like Kennison did for us. Shop him around the league.
