Yep. As far as I'm concerned, a Yankmees/Red Sux matchup is nothing more than an intersquad game. I hope Cleveland kicks the shit out of them and goes on to win the World Series. Not a Cleveland fan, but I think it would be great to see the WS Champ come from the midwest for the third straight year.

I've got a bit of a soft spot for the Indians. I was out in Ohio the last two years, and aside from Fox and ESPN, the only games I could watch were either Tiger or Indians games. The Indians have a really cool team.

Cliff Lee is a hell of a guy who has dealt with a lot of family problems
Grady Sizemore is pretty involved in the community, Sabathia and Hafner are down to earth, and really likeable.

They've also gone longer than any other team in the AL w/o winning a WS, IIRC, and they had the best damn baseball movie ever made about them..

I'd root for any AL Central team to win except the Twins, whom I passionately hate (fuck them and their dome). Go Cleveland.

If any structure in Minneapolis should have collapsed, it would have been nice had it been that one. (empty, of course...or at least populated by Kirby Puckett's corpse and Kent Hrbek)

I met Hafner when he was in JUCO here in KS. When I first met him, he looked like dumb like an ox, but he actually surprised me on how knowledgeable he is, especially in the game of baseball.

I knew he was a good baseball player when he started for the Indians, it's just that he has a little trouble trying to stay healthy.

Give me this one: Rockies vs. Indians.

I'd be cheering the top and bottom of every inning.

Yeah, he really fucked my fantasy team this year. Figured he'd build on his season of last year...

My first three picks were Hafner, Manny, and Aramis....18th, 19th, and 20th: Tulowitzki, Youkilis, Aaron Rowand.

Haha, the Arizona crowd is restless, who knew. Clint Hurdle just had to pull the Rockies off the field because the Arizona crowd was throwing things at them after a questionable interference call. Wasn't even that big of a deal, but the crowd lost their mind.
