Herm can't handle the egos...

Cdcox has been saying it for awhile now. Herm can't handle the egos. He's absolutely right. Today is undeniable proof that he's incapable of doing that. He can't handle Carl, he can't handle Tony, he can't handle Larry. He went to the press conference and threw a little hissy fit because his overpaid ass can't handle a bunch of other overpaid asses. All of whom aren't getting the job done.

Herm can't handle the egos.

Are you ****ing kidding me?

Let's see. How about where he put himself ahead of the team, pouted about not getting a record at Arrowhead - while the other 52 guys in the room are celebrating breaking a 12 game losing streak?

How about taking a paycheck, knowing what he was in for, then putting his teammates in a position to answer for him in the media? If you're a young guy in that locker room (or a vet, for that matter) how do you continue to respect a guy that is looking to jump ship?

Apparently you have no concept of a TEAM.

And what happened to that defense againt the PISS-POOR OFFENSES of Oakland, Atlanta, and Carolina?

Oh yea, guess you missed those games heh?
Yeah, it's completely the defenses fault we're 1-4.

How many points per game are we scoring on offense again?

Your still running in your own direction with this. Tyler never told Tony anything, he said it was a difficult situation and a distraction. That is realistic look inside the locker room.

I never said it was completely the defenses fault did I? But our defense sucks ass. It's worse than it was last year, and the year before. We were supposed to be going the other way.

Tyler, and everyone else on that team all need to and worry more about getting a first down before half time and less about Tony Gonzalez.

You are blowing most of this way out of proportion, no one is burning Waters at the stake, come on, all they are saying is that Waters is a Herm "Yes" guy.

BTW, Tyler didn't call TG out what so ever, he just said it was a strange situation
So Water's is a yes man just because he acts like a professional and doesn't air the team's dirty laundry through the media? That's a leader. No one has any clue what Waters may, or may not be saying behind closed doors.

But to classify him as a yes man because he's trying to act like a pro and lead by example is exactly the kind of chicken-little, pile-on bullshit that has made this place unbearable lately.

Ah, ok maybe I misunderstood. I have seen people say Tyler basically told him to stfu.

I am not "taking" anything anywhere.

So, what about the offense?

I guess they are all doing great?

Tank Tyler calling out Tony Gonzalez is like the Clique Girlz calling out the Beatles. You go, Tank.

But watch out. TG could kick our entire 2007 draft class's asses singlehandedly.

This could be good, though. A complete and total meltdown in the locker room could help the cause and speed the early retirement of Carl & Doofus.

Ummm, didn't Waters make a comment last year about how he didn't mind losing but "when you don't even try to win?", wasn't that him after a game last year?

I'd say if it wasn't for TG they would face 11 in the box every play.

And I never said the offense was good. I said the defense sucks. Sorry if that bit o' truth bothers you.

Don't know. Honestly, I don't care. If you actually have a link to that quote, I'd give it some consideration.

People are calling Waters a yes man over RECENT comments.

And yes, I think Waters is a bit of a yes man and a camera hog. I like him, but I am not ready to put him on Will Shields or Grunny levels yet.

I think he is a bit of one. Maybe for the right reasons... but good intentions and all. Should he slam anyone publicly? No.

If TG is slamming anyone it is our coaches.

The defense DOES suck. I've NEVER claimed otherwise.

The offense sucks as well, and last I checked, Gonzalez plays on the offense.

I guess he's absolved from all failures because of who he is?

And you wonder why the locker room may be divided...

Asking to play somewhere else isn't a knock on your teammates?

I don't care if Jesus Christ himself was the star left fielder on my softball team, if he said he wanted to play somewhere else, I'd tell him to **** off, and don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

There is no "I" in team.
