Chiefs Scott Pioli's first press conference thread - Page 27

Sources told FOX 4 News Pioli was Chiefs' owner Clark Hunt's top choice. On Wednesday, Pioli will fly to Dallas to meet with Hunt to sign a contract. After Dallas, Pioli will fly to Kansas City with his new boss.

While in Kansas City, he will meet with the Chiefs staff. There are about 180 employees who keep the organization running. Pioli will be responsible for the football operations and will report directly to Clark Hunt.

Pioli will formally be introduced during a news conference at the Chiefs Administrative facility at 5 p.m.(Central time) Wednesday.

The presser will be live on FOX 4 News locally here iin the KC area.

No way the HC doesn't show up to the introduction of the new GM if he thinks he's still employed by the organization. I think he has already been notified and the Chiefs are just working on the timing.

I wish Herm nothing but the best, he seems like a genuinely decent guy, but good lord is he stupid. Just be gone and live out the rest of your years being an exceptional DB coach while mumbling in incoherent bliss like Corky from "Life Goes On".

I found it kind of funny that i didnt see Herm sitting there. Dude is gone, he just didnt want to show that he's a goner when the spotlight is on him.
